                           - RELEASE NOTES -

This is a prelimiary test for 1.0 beta; currently, it seems to be pretty
working and complete. Some tests in the real world have been performed.

This is the last subversion before 1.0rc1; new feature won't be introduced
up to 1.0 version from now on, only tests and bugfixes will be allowed.

What is in this version:

- Thread specific and multiplatform subrocess handling.

- Bug fixes.

- Documentation updates and fixes (mainly thanks to Marcus Elfring).

- Compilation support for Solaris platform (thanks to Sean Burke).
